【World Property Journal】Investor Condo Purchases in U.S. Fall to 10 Year Low in 2025

After years of volatile swings in real estate activity during and after the pandemic, U.S. property investors appear to be returning to more measured behavior. According to new data released by Redfin, investors purchased 46,726 homes in the first quarter of 2025--a modest 2% increase from a year ago--signaling a stabilization of investor activity in the residential market.

【Zillow】Northeast Buyers Battle It Out While the Sun Belt Cools Off

There are about 5.5 engaged home shoppers — people who have saved or shared a for-sale listing on Zillow — for every home on the market nationwide. The ratio is greater than 10-to-1 in four Northeast markets: Buffalo, Hartford, Providence and Boston. In each of these metro areas, the typical home sells within 10 days and more than half of homes are selling above list price, indicating a bidding war with multiple offers.
