• U.S. home values are growing at a steady pace, and have surpassed pre-recession highs nationally and in a number of large markets. Driven largely by limited inventory and high demand, home values are growing fastest at the bottom end of the market.
• Regionally, markets in the Pacific Northwest, Texas, Florida and parts of the Southwest continue to outperform slower-moving markets in the Midwest and Mid-Atlantic.

台北市南門市場、東門市場因為老舊，面臨改建卻遲遲找不到中繼市場。副市長林欽榮表示，北市府去年12月11日向行政院長賴清德專案報告，行政院同意北市府以每年4千萬元的租金，短期租借位於愛國東路及杭州南路2段口的華光特區特（二）基地，做為兩座市場中繼使用。林欽榮也宣示，兩市場最長不超過3年時間就能改建完畢，2基地及屬於北市府的華光特區特（四）、特（五）公共住宅興建計畫，將會有市場、辦公室、社福設施及約900戶公宅，市府預計將投資100億元。

本輪房地產調控已是我國地產調控史上力度最大、持續最長的一次調控，截至2018年底已持續28個月，原本三年左右的房地產市場小周期也被拉長。2019年房地產政策可能結構化調整，一線、二線城市行政管制適度鬆動，融資環境邊際改善。商品房銷售面積趨勢性下行。土地市場成交面積較上年減少，新開工增速可能緩降；開發投資增速或小幅回落，全年增速約3%-5%。
延續2017年的調控狀態，2018年北京二手房市場在低位平穩釋放。中原地產研究中心統計顯示，2018年北京二手住宅共成交153407套(數據不包括12月31日)，比2017年的13.6萬套有所增加。從麥田房產成交均價來看，伴隨著交易量的低位釋放，2018年二手住宅均價較2017年下降約5%，各月份之間價格小幅波動，和2017年價格在高位回落階段相比，價格降幅明顯收窄。

According to the National Association of Realtors, pending U.S. home sales overall slipped in November 2018, but saw minor increases in the Northeast and the West.
The Pending Home Sales Index, a forward-looking indicator based on contract signings, decreased 0.7 percent to 101.4 in November, down from 102.1 in October. However, year-over-year contract signings dropped 7.7 percent, making this the eleventh straight month of annual decreases.
