- Existing home sales fell by 5.9% month-over-month in March to a seasonally adjusted annual rate (SAAR) of 4.02M. That’s a 2.4% drop from March 2024, according to the National Association of Realtors (NAR).
- Total housing inventory at the end of March increased to 1.33 million units up from 1.23 million units in February, up 19.8% from a year ago.
- The median existing-home sales price in March was $403,700, up 2.7% from a year ago.
