【CNN】Middle-income homebuyers have $30,000 more buying power than a year ago, research finds. It’s still not enough

• Households with median income — an estimated $86,300 — and enough money for a 20% down payment can now afford a $331,483 home, up $30,302 from a year ago, research from Zillow shows.
• However, the median price of a single-family home was $400,300 as of January, according to the National Association of Realtors.
• As more buyers enter the market, increased demand could push up prices due to constrained inventory, NAR’s chief economist said.
